Tafari Records

Tafari Records continues Doctor Dread’s work as the founder of RAS Records. Based in Calistoga, California, the label releases roots, rock and reggae shaped by his longstanding connections with Jamaican artists.

Doctor Dread

Doctor Dread built RAS Records around a love of reggae and the people who make it. His work with artists including Bunny Wailer, Black Uhuru, Gregory Isaacs, and the Marleys became the subject of his memoir: a personal account of a life spent making, sharing, and championing the music.
